Repost: How do you send a mouse-up event to FB runtime?

Still hoping to find a way to do this. I tried posting a mouseup event via
the Toolbox route, even tried changing the global MBState by doing a POKE
_MBState, 128. FB still thinks the mouse is down after all this (the
problem exists because I'm using an INIT that plays with mouse events).
When I quit FB and restart it, thereby clearing its internal event queue,
the problem disappears. So I need a way to POKE a mouseup event to FB's
internal event queue. Any help would be appreciated.
