The lifelessness experienced in so many churches in our day can be traced directly to the multitudes of families in those churches which contain Sunday-morning Christians only. It is plain to see the cause for such deadness when such individuals are not consistently worshiping God in private. Statistics reveal that only 11 percent of all professing Christians in America read their Bible or some portion of it once a day. If so few professing Christians are spending time alone with God, it should not be surprising that family worship as a practice among professing Christian families is practically nonexistent.

Restocking the Bible Notes Archives

Dear Bible Note Readers,

Just a short note to let you know that I will be able to return all official
and original Bible Notes to the archives. Anyone wishing to search them,
or wanting to use the e-mail system for acquiring an index and/or any
particular messages, will be able to do so soon.

However, this will take a little bit of time, as I will need to send each
individual message to the list. I will manually un-sub and re-sub everyone
during the process in order to avoid sending 150 or so e-mails to clutter
your e-mail boxes. So if you try to use the automated e-mail system and
have trouble in the next one to three days, assume that I am "restocking"
the archives.
