Re:Would you pray for me agian

Dear Sister in the Lord,

My prayers are with you. It has often been my experience that when we are forced
to get out of a job or move, God so many times blesses with somthing we could not
even imagine on our own.
Always keep in mind Jer 29: 11 and there is no fear about tomorrow.
With your in-laws, it is difficult for our older ones to see what is going on in the
world at present and not be frightened. They remember all too well, what the depression
and then the war meant to peoples lives. It is so difficult for them to go to bed each night
wondering if they will die alone, die without being right with the Lord, die without feeling
their lives were worth something, and this is the same no matter how mean or nasty they
are or how loving and kind. My father is very open about what it is like to think about
being alone and not being able to take care of himself. He is vibrant man of 80 but he
knows the day may come when he cannot care for himself, and on those days he tends
to call a bit more.

For your son, I agree with Deanna. Driving is a priviledge and it can be revoked by the
parents. Let him complain, you are surly stronger mentally then him : ) Children do
what works for them, they complain and fuss if the desired results come from it.
They want to wear us down.
Children who honor God will honor parents, and children who honor parents will honor God.
Help him to understand this. On a seperate post I will copy some information that may
be a blessing to you in this matter.
Praying that your 16 finds a soft heart for his parents instructions and that he will be a good
example to your younger one.

Lovingly in Christ,
Pat
