Rhythm Problem.

Hi I'm new to this group. I play guitar in church and there is another
guitar player plus my pastor who plays guitar also. Some songs are no
problem for me to play while others are and it seems that these are the
fast praise ones with different strumming patterns. The majority of the
worship songs are no problem for me. It seems that I cannot play like the
other two players which is frustrating to me. How can I overcome this
rhythm problem? I suggested one of the players take my wrist and move it to
the rhythm but that didn't work..he didn't want to do it! Anyway if you can
help me with this problem I would appreciate it. Ken
