Secrets of the Vine

book, but I cannot find it in my old emails sooooo I am hoping it is just
that I THOUGHT about posting! Ü If this is a repeat performance -- sorry!
Also -- this is going to my 2 lists as 1 email, so some of you may get it
twice -- sorry! On to the book......
I read Secrets of the Vine by Bruce Wilkinson earlier this week. He is the
author of The Prayer of Jabez. I enjoyed Jabez, but I loved Secrets of the
Vine! It may have been that I had heard several folks speak/preach on Jabez
before I read it or the fact that asking God to bless me was not something
new to me -- who knows. I likes Jabez, a lot, but it did not send me like it
has some folks.
Secrets of the Vine hit me where I am. It is all about being fruitful and
more fruitful.... my favorite part was a section towards the end of the book
on abiding with Christ. I so want to be at that point in my life where I long
to be in the Word and can just sit and meditate and ABIDE! This is a
wonderful little power packed book based on John 15. Recommended Reading for
sure!!!
