shrugs, 'cuddlewraps'

Posted by: docsheri <docsheri@...>

I crochet........let me see if I have a 5 point star granny
square......... If you DO get one please post it so I, too, can have
one.......in case I can't find one for you.

Shrug..........mine is knitted...two needles.

At a woman's meeting we sewed a huge shrug-like 'wrap'...called a
'cuddle-wrap'. This was polar fleece and the women were making it for
nursing homes. And they are fast compared to crocheting or knitting. Seems
to me it was two yards polar fleece. One and a half yards make a good one,
too.

interested? docsheri@swbell.net

Let me know.

MessageClara,
I think you might have some ideas for Wendy? I'm not a crocheter...although
I do know a teeny tiny bit. I'm leaving this in its entirety thinking you
may want to email her privately.

Any crochet fans out here? I have been hunting the internet for 2 things
that I am having problems finding. Hopefully someone can help.

1. A motif, granny square or octagon with a five pointed star at the center.

2. A shrug pattern that goes to bigger plus sizes. I want to make some of
these for a local nursing home.

Thanks
