snoods

Posted by: empalo <empalo@...>

Greetings in the Lord Jesus !

Just a little thought that comes from my background. Orthodox and Chassidic women wear snoods as a
headcovering. The snoods worn are big enough to cover every strand of hair. No hair can be shown for
most groups. I was Chabad. If a wig is not worn then a snood or scarf is worn to cover all the hair.
The snoods that I wore, had a 3 inch hair comb sewn in the top front that helped hold it on without the
need of pins. Often a matching headband was worn over the snood or attatched to it, to help it stay on
and give some lift in the front.
These snoods worn had to be made of a material that could not be seen through.

Humbly seeking Him,
