You may want to see what is going on in the life of another "Heart to Heart" family, by watching or setting your VCR for Wednesday morning.

Wednesday, June 29 - ABC - Good Morning America

This is especially appropriate before the Fourth of July, when America celebrates it freedom!

Ashley Donnelly's husband, Sam, is laboring and sacrificing for our freedom, as a Commander in the US Army. Ashley and their daughter, Sami Grace, are also making a great sacrifice for our freedom, by being separated from their loved one (husband and daddy) for longer than a year at a time.

Ashley gave me permission to share her e-mail below with all of you ladies, and I know Sam, Ashley and Sami Grace would appreciate your upholding them in prayer as they are apart.

Dear Family and Friends,

Just wanted to share some of the crazy excitement that has happened to the Donnelly's over the past few days. Sam gave me a wake up call Friday morning around 5:00AM to let me know that "someone would be coming to interview us (Sami and me)" -- he wasn't sure if it was going to be Good Morning America or The Today Show -- needless to say I was up and awake for the day after this comment. It was all a little unclear for a while but then I received a phone call from a producer in New York and within a few hours we were scheduled to have not just an interview but our whole day taped! YIKES!!!. The segment will show a day in the life of an Army wife and a day in the life of her husband.   Yesterday Sam and I both had a camera crew follow us around for the (very long) day. Our day started at 7:00 AM and ended when I put Sami Grace to bed last night -- Whew!! The crew followed us to church and then to lunch with friends afterwards. They watched naptime preparation and then outside playtime. Sami Grace did a great job "entertaining" the crew with her many questions and comments.

I prayed about the day and hoped they could get an accurate glimpse of our lives. So - not sure how this will all turn out but it is supposed to be on ABC -- GOOD MORNING AMERICA - tomorrow, June 28.  This is the date the producer gave to me but I haven't heard the final word yet. When we ended last night the guys were rushing to get the tapes on a plane so it could make it to NY last night.

ABC -- GOOD MORNING AMERICA - WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29.

I think out of all of this I am most excited about getting to see what Sam's environment and days are like.

The camera should have been here Friday after I got the news to see just how quickly a house can be cleaned and maintained!!!! WOW!!! MANY, MANY thanks to Amy Wylie and Mark and Robin Goss for all the help with grass cutting, mulching, and BABYSITTING.

PLEASE SAY A PRAYER FOR ALL THE "HEART TO HEART" FAMILIES

(Please pray along with me for these great needs of your "Heart to Heart" sisters. ~ Lois)

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You for your great love, mercy and grace toward us, as needy people. Without You, we can do nothing. I pray that You would show Your presence to the many ladies and their families today who need Your healing power in their body, mind or spirit. Shield those who are going through spiritual warfare.

I pray that You would intervene for a dear lady who is experiencing stroke-like symptoms, and the doctors aren't sure what the problem is. Restore her to good health and give peace to her husband, who also has serious health issues. Take care of a friend's son's family as he is going through physical therapy for both hands and his wife is expecting their sixth child.  Fill a young widow with your presence and help her in raising her three young children. Heal a tiny baby boy of kidney disorders. Provide a kidney for a dear young grandmother, whose husband left her after she became a Christian. Her husband needs You as his Savior as well as help to restore his marriage.

Comfort a husband and his family in the loss of his father.  Protect all the precious children who have to spend time with a verbally or physically abusive parent during visitation - some overnight. Please deliver them from that danger. I pray for those ladies who have had a miscarriage or lost a child through an accident or illness. Fill the arms of ladies who want so much to have a child of their own. Strengthen the "Heart to Heart" mother of triplets under one year of age. Give wisdom and guidance to moms and dad in raising their biological and adopted children.

Several ladies, their mothers, or another family member has cancer. Please touch their bodies and heal them. A young mother has a little daughter who is very susceptible to infections she also has a serious a heart problem and that family needs Your healing intervention. A young mother who has four children learned that she has aggressive breast cancer they desperately need Your help right now. A ladys father is having serious heart problems and he needs You as his Savior too.  Several Heart to Heart friends have continual joint and muscle pain. One dear young mother broke her back. Others have other serious health problems. They all need Your healing.

I pray that you would restore rocky marriages and help those with financial turmoil - they need Your peace and provision. Several ladies have sons and daughters with that same need. Other ladies have unsaved husbands - please open their eyes and their hearts to the truth.    There is tension and unforgiveness in some families. Other families are estranged with total lack of communication for one reason or another they need You as their Mediator.  Protect family members and friends of the ladies who are serving and protecting our country from terrorism. Be their Shield from evil, harm and danger.

Many mothers desire that their sons and daughters be led to the marriage partner that You have planned for them to marry please guide them and give them Your discernment.   Some single "Heart to Heart" ladies desire to meet God's choice for them, get married and have children. Guide and direct the single moms in their overwhelming job of raising their children alone. May their children to be obedient and helpful. Unite every family by drawing each one into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Provide for the wife and mother who desires to leave her job to work at home, so she can be available for her family more she needs Your guidance and provision. A husband with great stress in his job needs Your intervention. A husband needs his temporary full time job to become permanent, so he can provide for his family. Another husband needs to get his life right with You and get the proper medical care for himself.

Quite a few ladies have grown children who were raised for You and who once walked with You, but have taken a detour these wayward children need Your loving hand to guide them back to You. If they have never really accepted You as their Savior and Lord, please draw them to Yourself.

Many ladies have told me how they want to be a godly wife and mother please guide them and show them in Your Word how they can glorify You in their families. Bless and enable the many "Heart to Heart" homeschooling moms. Bless, guide and protect all the families on the mission field or on missions trips and give them eternal fruit for their labor.  Go before all the pastors and their wives as they lead their flocks for Your honor and glory.

Lord, you know that we are a needy group of ladies who desperately need Your powerful intervention in every area of our lives. We thank You that we can cast all of our cares upon You, because You care so deeply for us. Help each of us to always love, honor, obey and serve You in our lives, and may every generation of our descendents walk in Your ways until we see Your face!
