Study: 2024 Presidential Candidates
Quote from glen on July 14, 2023, 11:20 amLooking at conservative Christian (God-honoring) candidates so far...
Let's start with the question - which Republican candidates regularly attend worship service (noted in Wikipedia)?
- Chris Christie: a practicing member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
- Tim Scott: member of Seacoast Church, a large evangelical church
- Nikki Haley: regularly attend the United Methodist Church. She also attends Sikh services once or twice a year.
- Mike Pence: regularly worshiped at College Park Church, a nondenominational church
Which of these 4 candidates demonstrate some/all gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord such that they impact the world around them in a way that brings a full life to others? I have to leave this question unanswered - I don't know.
Which of these candidates have a daily, working relationship with God?
Which of these candidates are known for their integrity?
- Not Chris Christie (as noted in Wikipedia)
I've been impressed with Tim Scott so far, as I read what he stands for, and watch how he conducts himself.I'm not interested in the drama some candidates surround themselves with - I'm more interested in someone who quietly gets things done in a way that pleases God and supports His values.
