Stuffit Expander and MacBinary II+

Can anyone tell be how to get working copies of Stuffit Expander and
MacBinary II+? I tried downloading them from the following URL:

ftp://mirror.apple.com/mirrors/info-mac/

but the copies I got were all compressed and needed Stuffit Expander or
MacBinary II+ to expand them, putting me back where I started from. Any
thoughts?
