SUCH A WORLD AS THIS

Sublime, majestic truths in simple words,
Soft clouds that conquer and cover craggy peaks,
The shepherd watching over grazing herds,
The newborn's perfect skin and puffy cheeks,
The eagle swooping over lesser birds,
In dark and quiet woods, a crackling fire;
Ah, such a world as this to love and inspire!
