Hello
Here are my Sunday sermon outlines for AM and PM.
I am forgoing the traditional mother's day message as I am impressed of
the Holy Spirit to continue on with messages that deal with Christians
spending time with God. Both sermons speak to this realm.May 12 AM Message:
Whose at the Door?: Our Need to Spend Time with
GodRevelation 3:20
1. Sensing our Need
2. Supplying our Need
May 12 PM Message:
Who to Trust?
Jeremiah 17:5-10
1. The Curse of Trusting Man (5-6)
1a. Departing
1b. Drying Up
Trusting Result: salt land that is not inhabited
2. The Blessing of Trusting God (7-8)
2a. Developing
2b. Drinking Up
Trusting Result: green ... no anxiety, always fruitful
Conclusion:
- Warning of Heart Condition (9)
- Warning of Heart Examination (10)
Any thoughts, insight, illustrations you might share with
me will be appreciated.Bob A
