System Hanging up

When my Compaq sits for a while without use, the system seems to just "lock
up" and I can't use it. If I do a Ctrl Alt Del to End Task, I see msqsrv32
Not Responding. I End Taskfor msqsrv32 and it works fine. I don't think
is something from the Power scheme but I have that set to Always On and
Never for both the Turn off monitor and Turn off hard disks. Does anyone
have any suggestions.
