Talking Animal PC's and DR Club.

Hello, all.
I've been away from my e-mailo for a while, so I
haven't had the chance to respond to some of the
things discussed.
First, I Don't like the idea of players playing
talking animals. These creatures are not fallen, so
there stats would be 10 across the board. There would
be no growth in the character strengths, and this
would defeat the purpose of DR. HOWEVER, if someone
wanted to temporarily play a talking animal, I would
be OK with that.
Second, Praise God about that DR club. I think it's
fine the way he started off the players (with an
awesome Abram reference). The way I see it, even
thought I beleive there is a definite time that one
becomes born again, I don't think we in our mortal
eyes always see it. I have a few friends who kind of
'fell' into Christ. This is one reason wny baptism is
so important, because it gives us a chance to have a
defining moment. So, these dudes and dudettes in the
DR club could be on their way to being TwiceBorn, and
when they get to the LL, they could have a faith that
is credited to them as righteousness, allowing them to
enter the LL.-steve b.
