Dear Hope Chest friends,Many of you are familiar with the Terri Schiavo legal battle that is
raging in Florida right now. Unless there is dramatic intervention, her
feeding tube will be removed tomorrow and she will starve to death within
two weeks.I just got a message via Pat Wesolowski that SB-804, an emergency bill
that would prevent the removal of her feeding tube, is being presented by
Senator Daniel Webster (a pro-life Christian) as I write this. (I
believe he was to start at 1 pm.) Please pray that the Senators will
have ears to hear and that they will be receptive to the things that
Senator Webster has to say and that they will vote for the bill.
Governor Jeb Bush's previous bill, which extended her life until now, was
declared unconstitutional, and judges have so far refused to consider
other pleas from Terri's parents to keep her alive.Pat also recently sent a web link to the testimony of Kate Adamson, a
lady who not only came out of a coma, but totally recovered.
