So, here it is. Jeff got 6 months in jail with it looks like work
release. But the good news is that probation is over. No more worldly
councel, worldly parenting classes etc.... He will have to pay $10 per
day for work release and to for transportation to work. But here is more
good news... He ran into his first po and he is now a alternative jail
councelor (?) and he had house arrest bands on him. He told Jeff and
showed him in his sentencing forms that it says that it is up to this
guy that jeff could get house arrest, or could be let off early. it is
all on the recommendation of this one guy- who likes jeff. And after
that there is 36 months post jail supervision. But not probation.
Yes, it is disappointing that jeff is not here, but he can still provide
for us. And he may be out sooner than we know it. It will still be tight
for us financially as he will have to pay. And if he gets house arrest
(better as he could work daily this way, and as many hours as he can
get) then it is $300 a month. As tight as things are it is a
disappointment.
But God is mighty and this is a good outcome. Please pray that we can
get some visitation rights before he has to deliver himself to jail.
Thank you all for your prayers, Debra and family
