Hello friends, I am feeling much better! The prayers and medicine are
working. In some ways, being so sick has been a blessing. (I always try to
look at the positive.) It gave the kids the opportunity to work together
dividing up "duties" and lots of extra time to play. Without running here
and there, they have done a lot of their work without any time pressure and
they also spent time playing board games together and such. Juliet (3) spent
a lot of time playing (banging) on the piano and singing. This morning, she
finally figured out how to play "Lord I lift your name on high....Lord
I love to sing your praises..." That's all she knew, but she sang it
*beautifully* to my aching ears. (She has a neurological speech disorder so
while her words are not very intelligible, I really could tell this is what
she was singing. It was music to my ears.)My Korean MIL brought by some Korean soup that is made in a beef broth with
seaweed. It is supposed to be a healing soup, good for a sick person whether
it be a person who just had a baby or whether it is somebody with the flu,
etc. She had to watch me eat just to make sure I was eating. It
sure tasted good. Nice and warm going down.Thank you all for praying. I can tell that I'm getting better every hour.
