The GREAT TEMPTATION

NOTE: For those who are going through a real "desert" time in
your walk with the Lord, here is some encouragement to resist the
temptations that come at such a moment:"CURSE GOD and DIE"??
-by Lon Mackley.JOB 2:9- 'His wife said to him, "Are you still holding on to your
integrity? Curse God and die!"'This is one lie you will hear more than once during your wilderness
time, especially around the end of it. After all, you have waited for
so long, sacrificed everything, and you have trusted God at some
of the most untrustable times and still here you are in your pain
and problem. The truth of it is, that God wants to develop the inside
during your wilderness so He allows the outside to get pretty
challenging and scary at times.JOB 2:10- 'He replied, "You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall
we accept good from God, and not trouble?" In all this, Job did not
sin in what he said.'We must be very cautious when it looks like God has forsaken us
because He has promised to never leave or forsake us, so even if
everything looks at its worst God will still remain at His best for us.
We must be extra careful in these times where it looks like God
has abandoned us not to say or do things that would be sin. So no
matter how tough things are for you today my friend, try to bless
God and keep trusting Him.DT 31:8- "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you;
he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be
discouraged.""I Am The Same God" - A Word for the Weary:
My dear one, you have reached a tough spot in your walk with Me
where everything seems to be coming to a dead end, but I want to
remind you that no matter how dead things may seem right now
that I am the same God that has been working in your life all along
and the same God who will continue to be faithful to you. I am the
same God that saved and filled you with My Spirit, and the same
God that has led you through your wilderness. There is no need to
fear or be discouraged right now because just as I have been with
you in the past, so will I continue to be with you in your present time.Even as Job was tested and tempted to give up and start lashing
out in his flesh at Me, he reminded himself that I was the same
God that had been with him in the best of times, and that I would
be the same faithful God to him in the worst of times. This time of
death will pass and new life is coming for you, so rather than
mourning in your grave clothes I would have you to rejoice and put
on your wedding clothes for surely your Groom stands at the door
ready to come and rescue you. Continue to trust in Me My love for
I am the same faithful God who will never forsake you in your day of need.~Found on the Forum at- www.revivalschool.com
