"THE HOPE"

The Israeli national anthem is Ha'Tikvah which means "The Hope." It is a beautiful song and here are the Hebrew words to it:HA' TIKVAH
Kol od balevav penima* Nefesh yehudi homiya* Ul'faatei
mizrach, kadima* Ayin l'Tziyon tzofia.Od lo avda tikvateynu* Hatikvah bat sh'not al'payim* Lihiot
am hofshi b'artzenu, * Eretz Tziyon, Yerushalyim.Lihiot am hofshi b'artzenu,* Eretz Tziyon Yerushalyim.
Lihiot am hofshi b'artzenu,* Eretz Tziyon Yerushalyim.
This was sung on May 14, 1948 when David Ben Gurion addressed the National Council to proclaim the re-birth of the Nation of Israel......"By virtue of the national and historical right of the Jewish people and of the resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations, we hereby proclaim the establishment of the Jewish State in Palestine, to be called "Israel."
As long it is in the heart, a Jewish soul is groaning. And eastward an eye is gazing towards Zion! Our hope {Ha'Tikvah} is not yet lost, It is "The Hope" of 2000 years to be a free nation in our own land that G-d has given us!
Y'shua wept over Jerusalem! What has happened to the Jewish people? Have they forgotten their first love? Why have the Jews, G-d's chosen people, been in exile for thousands of years? What is the answer from G-d? His answer is found throughout the Torah, where He commands us to pray for the shalom of Jerusalem!
We do not mourn properly over Jerusalem. Jews are guilty of the transgression alone, and that would be sufficient reason for the extension of the period of their Exile. In my opinion this is the most likely, most apparent and the strongest reason for all of the dreadful terrifying prosecutions which have befallen the Jewish people in Exile, in all of the places of their dispersion. They have been hotly pursued. They have not been granted rest among the nations with our humiliation. Today, almost 55 years after Ben Gurion's proclamation of the State of Israel, G-d is waiting for the children of Israel to return and cry out to Him! There is today humiliation, affliction and homelessness, because the sense of mourning has left their hearts. Jews all over the world, especially here in America, have become complacent in a land that is not theirs, and have forgotten Jerusalem; they have not taken it to heart. Therefore like "one who is dead have they been forgotten", from generation to generation sorrow is added to their sorrow and pain.
One must weep ceaselessly over the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the restoration of the glory of King David, for that is the object of human perfection. G-d says: "If we do not have Jerusalem and the kingdom of the House of David, why should we have life?... Since our many transgressions have led to the to the Destruction and to the desolation of our glorious Temple and the loss of the kingdom of David, the degree that we suffer the absence and the lack of good is known to all. Surely we have descended from life to death! And the converse is also true: "When Messiah Y'shua restores the captivity of Zion ," we shall ascend from death to life eternally!" Certainly the heart of anyone who possesses the soul of a Jew is broken when he recalls the present destruction of G-d's Holy City Jerusalem.
From Galilee to Jerusalem, all across the land, we've
come to worship you* You* You're the G-d of Israel,
and you're worthy to be praised* You're the Lord of
all the world, and we magnify your name today*In the King of Kings of Kings, Dick & Jo-ann
