The world's first murderer struck in devious rage.
His brother's righteous blood, afield, was spilled,
And he was doomed to wander the earth; his wage,
To never work the soil, as God so willed.
He cried he could not bear this grievous bane;
'Twas mercy's touch to stamp the mark upon Cain.---
Several commented on the poem, "An Adult's Evening
Prayer" (March 16):"Nice poem. How thankful I am that His eyes are
always on me!" --P.F."I love this one too. Keep them coming!" --M.M.
"I love to read your messages--wish it was more
often! I count it a blessing from God that I can
fall asleep no matter what if I just close my
eyes--God is so-o-o good! --S.B.1. Remember: we do like to hear from you.
