THE OLYMPICS

They march before the nations, proud
To represent their countries' teams,
While witnesses watch as a human cloud.
Each athlete feeds his glorious dreams
Of victory under the cheering crowd.
Let hands be swift! Fly pounding feet!
The taste of winning was never so sweet.
