THE SECRET MAN
by J. Randal Matheny

To secret rooms he steals away,
Where no one sees and none can know
What silent concourse leads astray
>From normal going to and fro.

Alone, this man spends precious hours;
A distant figure fills his mind,
To whom he renders all his powers,
For meaning, love and bliss combined.

If we could follow where he's gone,
We'd sooner see his mysteries:
He enters, in the early dawn,
Before the Lord upon his knees.

For, hidden in the morning mists,
The way is clear to see the Lord:
The man is sure that God exists
And grants the seeker's sure reward.

If you didn't catch the Bible reference in there,
you'll need to check here to discover it, as well
as to access my short rant on political
