THE SONG OF JESUS

The song of Jesus finds and fills
My heart, my life, my soul;
Like morning mist upon the hills,
Or thunder's trembling roll.

His tender music touches strings
Long silent, still and cursed.
>From desert ground and dry earth springs
His fount that quenches thirst.

His tones alone, so pure and clear,
Can make a person live;
With Jesus' music in my ear,
I have a song to give.
