Dear Hope Chest readers,My dear mother-in-law, Ann Knowles, passed away quietly at 11:05 this
morning. Thad looked over at her, realized that she was just about to
stop breathing, and went to get two of his sisters, who were at the
house. They were with her during her final seconds of life on earth.
His two other sisters arrived shortly after that. They all saw her
yesterday or this morning. (One flew in at midnight!) Everything was
very peaceful, and she was not in a lot of pain. She died at home, as
she wished, with minimal medical intervention. Now she is safe in the
arms of the Savior.Thank you for your prayers and support during this past year of her
illness. Please continue to lift us up as her final funeral and estate
details are determined, including a land purchase which needs to be
decided this week. My husband Thad is the executor of the estate.I will send funeral details as they become available.
In His Sovereign Grace,
Virginia Knowles
