Tic-tac-toe

(1). Does anyone have FutureBasic source code for a simple tic-tac-toe game
they would be willing to share? (Not Exercise 16.5 which simply shows how
to draw and place objects.) I'm attempting to broaden my understanding of
logic processes, and figured I'd start with something simple...like
developing a tic-tac-toe game, right? Wrong! I generated a pretty window
with edit fields and have worked out some random movements of Xs and Os,
but now I need to understand the logic to make it actually work. I
downloaded some QBasic VB and other Wintel Basic code in an attempt to
figure it out. But I'd rather have it in a language and on a system I
understand.
(2). I successfully wrote a small one-trick-pony application that allows
the user to enter a telephone area code, and returns the area code
location. (I do some shopping on the net and like to know where the other
end is located. For years I used AreaCodeLocate by Moore but it is now
seriously out of date. Other shareware apps are too cumbersome. So, I wrote
mine out of necessity, and made it easily updateable and, best of all,
current.) There is one small annoyance: When you enter the 3-digit area
code in its edit field, you must press the Return or Enter keys to enter
the information. How can I implement this by simply entering the 3 integers
and having the app automatically handle the return? (I figure this has
something to do with TEKEY$, but I'm scared! What is left of my brain is
already sizzling. Please help.)
