tightening loose nut

The nut that holds the jack on my Parker keeps coming loose. I have put a new nut on it. I have tried with and without a washer. I even in desperation put super glue on it. Not the hold for all eternity kind but the less permanent type. That didn't hold either. What is the secret? I think the reason it keeps coming loose is I hit the cable on my seat or my leg while playing.

The next question is what is the best way to tighten the nut? What I mean is it is not very easy to get at with a wrench. I often end up with a pair of needle nose pliers after a few minutes of frustration. Holds for a few days then we start all over again.
