TODAY AND TOMORROW

Ah, the promise of tomorrow!
Balm and cure for every sorrow,
Hope is in this potent vial,
Healing for the hardest trial.
Goals excite the careful planner,
Growth and progress are his banner;
Fill with meaning every minute,
Greatness, then, if God be in it.
Time to gather, time to scatter,
Time to do the things that matter;
All things have their proper season,
All need Jesus as their reason.
Every day this one decision,
Constantly a single vision:
Always time to seek salvation,
God's good will a full vocation.
