I have been up since 2 a.m. and have thoroughly enjoyed His presence. I thought since I usually respond but seldom if ever offer a word of encouragement on my own, uninitiated by some subject,I would throw this out there early in the morning. (It is now 6:50 a.m.)
We will all meet several people today. In each one of these "meetings" we have an opportunity to reveal the Christ in us or the old dead man we so often carry with us. I for one know when my, "old man", has spoken, there is no life in the words nor does it bring life to the hearer.
I am challenged today to make an effort to identify each "meeting" I have with my fellow human beings, and acertain what theWord of the Lord might be for each that I "meet" with. Not that I am seeking a prophetic word, but more a Word from the heart of Christ within me, confirmed by scripture. I wonder now how many people I met yesterday, not realizing at the moment that I just had a devine appointment and missed the opportunity to "aknowledge Him" before men. Join me brothers, Let' us make this a day in which we "let our light shine before men", and see what the testimonies will be tomarrow as we make oursleves available to the Holy Spirit and His plans for those we meet today.
