Unable to eat homegrown animals

I believe it was when I was on the CSRL list that someone mentioned that
they could not eat their own animals. It was just too much for them but
they found a solution. They swapped animals with a fellow homesteader when
it came to butchering time. Both folks knew what had gone into the animals
and neither had to eat their friends!...Deanna
