This dark problem of unmerited suffering lights up as we see what happened at the cross. Jesus did not bear the Cross – He used it. The Cross was sin, and He turned it into the healing of sin; the Cross was hate, and He turned it into a manifestation of the love of God. The Cross showed man at his worst, and there Jesus shows God at His redemptive best. The cruelest, darkest word that life ever spoke was at the Cross, and Jesus took all that cruelty and darkness and turned it into pure love and pure light… What a light it sheds upon the tragedy of life to find such a fact at the center of our faith.

This is not related to my please pray post. Right now, I'm just biding my time until dh gets home. we've got a mess to deal with here. I'll update you on that as I can.

I have tendonitis. I am to lift nothing, including my arm for a couple of days. fortunately, my left arm works and the computer keyboard is lower than my shoulder!!!! 😉

Taking the steriods as prescribed, they're keeping me awake. I was up at 4:00 am this morning, bright eyed and bushy tailed. I'm a late riser. Couldn't clean cause it would disturb everyone else. so, I laid out another section of science for sam and surfed the net for a while. Got Caleb up at 6:00 when he wanted his daylight nursing (he usually goes back to sleep then, but I knew I would need an early nap today.) Fixed breakfast for dh (a rare treat) then had a nap with Caleb at 8:00.
