Update on Virginia Knowles

I had the hernia surgery yesterday afternoon. It went well, and I "came
to" about 5 minutes after getting out of surgery. I am in a bit of
pain, less so since I took a pain pill which makes me a little groggy,
too. I can only sit at the computer for a couple of minutes, sitting
sideways and sort of leaning back in my chair. I'm supposed to walk a
mile today -- according to the doctor -- but don't see how that is going
to happen since I have been reduced to a slow shuffle! Maybe I'll be
feeling better this evening...
When I sent out the Hope Chest yesterday, something got messed up with
the line spacing. The paragraphs all run together. I do apologize, and
hope it isn't too hard to read. I wish I could fix it now, but don't
have the tolerance for sitting up at the computer yet! I'll try sometime
this week.
I thank you all for your prayers and support. I now have massive amounts
of sympathy for anyone who goes through a C-section. Depending on how
next week goes, I may write an article on "Home Schooling From Your
Couch!"
