We made it to Maryland!

We arrived safely in Maryland this evening. We took back roads up to Jacksonville, and then got on I-95 until we got to the D.C. area. That wasn't too bad. We ended up taking only our van so that we could stick together and not use as much gas, which I know was in very short supply.
We are waiting along with everyone else to see where Hurricane Frances will go and how much damage our house will suffer. Thad may need to return before the children and I go back, depending on what happens.
Until then, we have my brother's wedding on Sunday to capture our attention! I am so excited that we can ALL be here together since my three living grandparents are all here right now at my mom's house, and most of my aunts and uncles on both sides of the family will also meet us up in New Jersey. How many times will that ever happen again?
