We're OK so far!

It's nearly 11 AM, and I think the worst of it is over. Hurricane Jeanne
didn't turn north as much as it was expected, so we didn't get the brunt
of it here in Seminole County. I'm not even sure we got much hurricane
force winds here -- more tropical storm strength. I think the storm is
weakening as it heads to Tampa.
Our power went out around 1 AM, so I am using the battery backup on the
computer just for a few minutes. It may be several days before we get
power again. We have lost a lot of shingles on the roof (I can see them
on the ground!), but I can't see any other damage from inside the house.
We will have a lot of wind and rain for the rest of the day.
I don't know much about damage to the rest of the state. I guess we'll
be finding that out later. It's time to get off the computer and
conserve the battery!
