by J. Randal Matheny © 2013What better time than now to move
Away from sin, and seek to prove
God's good and pleasing and perfect will?
The empty heart let Jesus fill.Let he who walks the lonely path
Find pardon, peace, relief from wrath;
What stubborn pride to stride alone,
As if the world was his to own!The Lord invites and calls to accept
Salvation for which the Savior wept.
In Christ all joy and love are found
By those who to his way are bound.Christ knocks upon our inner door,
Would come and stay—will we ignore?
If you would welcome and allow,
You must receive and answer now.— ‹‹«»›› —
