What is going on with Bible Notes?

 

Bible Notes Message Board Nominated?

 

It is an honor to have Bible Notes, the new message board, nominated for a contest called Runsearch Weekly. If anyone would like to vote for Bible Notes, or for any of the others listed there, all you need to do is post a short reply to the voting topic and then vote for up to three message boards. You might need to create a Runboard user account first, but you really do NOT need to give any personal information in the process.  Here is a link to the topic: Runsearch Weekly - February 9, 2008.

 

 

Statement of Faith Topic, Main Chat Forum, and Posting Rules

 

Since the Bible Notes message board rules do not allow for contradictory ("divergent") doctrines and etc. a Runboard user -- also the one who nominated the message board for the contest -- recommended posting a Statement of Faith. I heartily agreed and began the process. The Statement of Faith topic has been added to the Main Chat section. Though most of the message board is designed to be read only the Main Chat forum is a place where anyone may post. There are also two topics there for Prayer Requests and Testimonies. However, I have strict posting rules for the message board. Anyone who posts a new topic: please be advised that it will automatically be hidden until the BibleNote Writer "unhides" it*. This is an added security feature to help prevent any undesired content -- since it is a public message board. 

 

*Please use the preview option to see what your post will look like before submitting a new topic, because it will be hidden from the writer as well as from the general public.

 

 

Questions About God and Jesus in the Modern World Today

 

Someone from over in Europe, with whom I correspond a bit, decided to post some serious questions for the BibleNote Writer. You may visit the Bible Questions forum to see the questions and some answers from a biblical perspective.

 

 

Bible Notes Posted and Formatted

 

I have posted and formatted twenty or so Bible Notes to the message board. Also, I am posting Scripture verses and passages so that readers may click on Scripture reference links to quickly see the full quotations (words of Christ in red).

Question on Eternal Security: Once Saved Always Saved? -- Though the question topic is currently hidden, I am working on an answer to the question posted by Desert Preacher and I should unhide the question and answer soon. It will also be found in the Bible Questions forum. I may have a whole series of answers, but the first attempt at an answer will use the passage of Scripture that I think most clearly and unequivocally answers the question.
