What Pleasure to Ponder
   Based on Psalm 119.145-152

What pleasure to ponder the word of his power!
I wait for the night, in the quiet of the hour.
Because of your loyal love, listen to me,
Revive me, O Lord, as you do typically.
Reliable are your commands, you are near,
With thoughts of your will in my heart, I'll not fear.
Wrongdoers are far from your powerful law,
But I want to feel the full strength of your draw.
I rise before dawn, for help early pleading,
It is hope that I find, when I'm hurting and bleeding.
