Dear friends,

 

I think I have just about finalized the next Hope Chest edition - "In the Middle of the Story" - which I intend to send out this weekend.   No promises, though!  It's a little hard for me to type right now since I fell and broke my left elbow in two places a week ago -- and I am left handed!  But I'm getting in a little writing here and there during the times I can take off the removable cast.  They were both minor breaks and should heal up in the next couple of weeks.  🙂 
 

In the meantime, I decided to send you the links to the blog posts I have written since I sent out the last issue nearly two months ago.  All of the posts are listed in reverse chronological order, most recent first.

My son Micah just simplified his photo blog address to http://www.GodsAnimals.blogspot.com.  We've just finished reading a few books about naturalist/agriculturalist/scientist George Washington Carver since we are studying the post Civil War era, and I'm hoping Micah will post his short report about him on the blog soon.  Next week we're moving on to Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell!
