Why did you start playing?

For me, I had cousins visit one summer and they all played instruments. Everyone sat around listening to them playing their instruments. No one was interested in the fact that I played baseball, football, and wrestling. So, my dad had an old, cheap acoustic guitar and I picked it up. The strings were about 9 miles off the fretboard. But, yeah, I started playing guitar out of adolescent jealousy.
