Why I Like Church
Quote from Shelley on May 1, 2022, 2:44 pmI enjoy going to church, more than ever before. In fact I thrive on it. I love to be with others and praise God because He has been so good to me. I love to hear stories of how God is working in their lives. I love to hear prayer requests and struggles people are going through, and know I am not the only one. I love to hear testimonies of how God has healed them, and although it is hard, it is helpful to see those whose prayers were answered differently than they had hoped - to see that they still trust God who loves us all more than we can imagine, even through terrible times. I love to be encouraged by God's Word. I love to do my small part in adding to the body whatever small help or encouragement I can. When I am not doing well, I love knowing that I am not alone, there are others who care and will pray with me. I love being loved unconditionally by God, and being reminded of that constantly in our worship.
