Christmas to you and yours! God bless you in
the ways that matter.WIDE CELESTIAL DREAMS
by J. Randal MathenyI dream a Kingdom dream by night and day,
Which comes to pass when Kingdom people pray,
When men of God give grace and self away,
And put their humble lights on high display.I dream a heavenly dream of angels' heights,
Of elders' golden thrones and glorious sights,
Where sun and moonlight pale in God's great lights,
And raptured men have full and equal rights.My earthly dream is mixed with seraph' song,
Descending Jacob's steps to join our throng;
The angels work to keep our feet from wrong,
And guide us toward the home where we belong.Awake, I dream of wide celestial dreams;
This wobbly world unlike what solid seems,
But through the billowed clouds, hallowed beams
For moistened eyes that see, all heaven gleams.1. In spite of the straight rhyming pattern, or, who
knows, because of it, I thought this was one of
my better works. But the reader is the final
