Why name joy the gift in trials? Because trials keep us from becoming complacent about our loving God and Savior when we are forced to our knees and the tears won’t stop. It is only then that our communion with our God is the purest. Trials drive us to run boldly to the throne of grace, to the safety of being on our faces in the presence of God, and to spend time in deep communion with God. When we are hurting, we don’t suffer as much from weak, shallow, and meaningless minutes with the Lord, We learn to relish and anticipate hours with God! The experience of communion and intimate fellowship with God is the very depiction of joy!

WONDER-WOMAN is FULL OF "GODS"

The movie 'Wonder-Woman' is getting rave reviews from the critics
(especially feminists) but if you know any Christians that are
planning to take their kids to see it, then it may be good to let
them know that the entire storyline revolves around false 'gods'.
Even the "Zeus" creation myth is included, along with the concept
that Diana ("Wonder Woman") herself is actually a 'god'. These
are not minor details in the story. They are major themes that run
right through the entire thing. Feminism and anti-marriage are
other notable themes, but the 'gods' thing is a big one.

Apart from that, is the movie artfully crafted? Of course!

I just got back from an early screening, and wanted to let my
Christian brothers and sisters know, so people are aware. This
is the most hyped movie of 2017. Forewarned is forearmed.
