I think that one of the most caring and loving things we can do
is to really listen to one another. First, we need to listen to
God - read His Word, then listen to the Spirit speaking through
the Word into our hearts. Then we need to take what we've heard.
Listening implies the next step in loving and caring - an
obedient attitude.
Dear Lord, help us in our struggles to hear what You have to say,
listen to You, and act upon what You have lovingly told us. May
the people around us experience, first hand, Your love, because
of how You have influenced and changed our hearts.
