Word for Today from "Utmost" : "The "Go" Of Preparation"

Dear friends,This is a great message from the My Utmost For His Highest series - it is about making things right with others, confession, forgiveness, not holding on to past grievances with others. Perhaps we need this reminder once in a while. When we carry a grudge, who does it hurt? - "We", e.g. me, - or in your case, you. So this message applies to each of us, and clearly what Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount is great advice.
By the way, if you have not read the entire Sermon on the Mount (Matthew chapters five through seven) this year, how about reading it today and/or tomorrow? Most of us are capable of reading it in one setting, but take more time if you need it. (I once had a drunk, who apparently read the Bible and memorized many parts of it, recite the entire Sermon on the Mount, virtually word for word). Too bad his mind was so intoxicated that he was not living the great words from our Savior - perhaps those words have since convicted his soul. But we can have the words of our Savior remind us and touch us right now, so won't you read The Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5-7 today?
Here are two sites where you can read it; or read it in your own Bible:
