Dear friends,

Do you know that it is the love of God that is the differentiator -
the one thing that really makes a difference in the life of someone
who loves God, and truly has the heart of a Christian?

We all have our own ideas about what love is, but the love of God is
so amazing. We can love someone or some thing, but when the situation
turns sour, our love is tested, and often fails.

Not so with God's love. It is a love that never fails. That is how we
can tell which love is the genuine article, from God, and not from ourselves.

My friends, far too often I have been convicted by the realization that
I have not been operating out of a love that comes from God, but from my
own ways and thinking of what love is. Read 1 Corinthians 13 and also
1 John to get a better appreciation of what the love of God is all about.
