Yet Another List Reply Problem (was: RE: IDrive and Another Alternative)

The reason that you no longer obtain duplicates may be that people (like
Greg) are manually deleting your e-mail address ([email protected]) from the To:
header after hitting reply but before sending the message back to the list.
You would then get just one message sent to you *via* the ccmag mailing
list. I suspect that you have *configured* your e-mail client by including
non-empty values for both:
a) your 'E-mail address'; and
b) a 'Reply address'.
The former gets translated into a "From: xxx" mail header, the latter into a
"Reply-to: xxx" mail header. I suspect that you have both your 'E-mail
address' (or similar named) field and your 'Reply address' (or similar
named) field set to "[email protected]". I also suspect that if you *delete*
the value for your 'Reply address' (or whatever it is called in the
*configuration / setup* for your e-mail client), then when people 'reply' to
your messages they will not have to manually delete your e-mail address.
BTW, I further suspect you *will* get a *duplicate* of this message because
after invoking Outlook 2000's 'Reply' function, I did *not* manually delete
your e-mail address from the To: field.
