Your vote is SO important!

Dear Hope Chest readers in the USA,I know you've been inundated with political information in the past few weeks, but this is really important. Please, please, please don't let anything stop you from voting this year. It really counts! Also, if there is any way that you or your children can get involved in a political campaign, please do it! Not only is it a good education in civics, but it makes a difference for our country! It's so much better to start young and keep the momentum going!I dropped off my two oldest teenagers, Mary and Julia, at the local Republican headquarters this morning. They will be walking door to door for the Bush-Cheney campaign today for several hours. Tomorrow they are going out again with friends from our home school group. Mary, who laments that she is too young to vote (by 7 months) still wants to do something for the Republican cause, so she has also been making phone calls from headquarters for a few hours this week, urging county residents to take advantage of the early voting that Florida now has. (I even went in for an hour on Monday!) She even got four tickets to the Bush rally at Tinker Field tomorrow evening! Yippee! Thad is taking our three oldest girls. Rachel is really psyched up about this. We have a house of budding conservatives...Florida voters, please be aware that there is a proposed constitutional amendment requiring notification of parents when minor daughters seek an abortion. This is such a crucial vote for life! Don't miss it!The rest of the information in this e-mail was forwarded from Lois Breneman ([email protected])Thanks again,Virginia Knowles

This story is so typical - it's heartbreaking!
I am a senior citizen.
During the Clinton Administration I had an extremely good and well paying job.
I took numerous vacations and had several vacation homes.
Since President Bush took office, I have watched my entire life change for the worse.
I lost my job.
I lost my two sons in that terrible Iraqi War.
I lost my homes.
I lost my health insurance.
As a matter of fact I lost virtually everything and became homeless.
Adding insult to injury, when the authorities found me living like an animal, instead of helping me, they arrested me.
I will do anything that Senator Kerry wants to ensure that a Democrat is back in the White House come next year.
Bush has to go.Sincerely,
Saddam Hussein
