There is no doubt whatever that the devil opposes our approach to God in prayer, and does all he can to prevent the prayer of faith. His chief way of hindering us is to try to fill our minds with the thought of our needs, so that they shall not be occupied with thoughts of God, our loving Father, to Whom we pray. Hi guys,
 
I appreciate the insights gleaned from the different perspectives here.  Our church has traditionally been against any kind of fundraiser for the youth, but recently some of the youth have shown an interest in generating some funds for their own activities. 
 
 What Biblical rationale is there for prohibiting bake sales, car washes, etc by the youth of the church, or is this a culture/tradition issue?  (Is it wrong to throw pies at the pastor for money?)
