A 'plug' for something worthwhile

Posted by: masinick <masinick@...>

Dear friends,

For several weeks now, I have been using http://www.crosswalk.com in
addition to http://www.gospelcom.net and http://www.sowingseedsoffaith.com
for background material for our Daily Devotions. Crosswalk is the
place where I get the Quiet Time and Walk Thru the Bible devotionals,
and also the place where Bob Kauflin hosts his Worship Matters discussions
about singing and the value of music as an important part (but not the
focal point) of our worship (of course Jesus Christ is the focal point
of my worship, hopefully yours as well).

Crosswalk is marketing their site, attempting to get more readers, apparently.
In the attached message, they are recommending that people join more of
their Email sites and share them with their friends. I have joined about
three of their mailing lists, and have found them to be useful and not
offensive in their content.

They have asked their readership to share this message, so I am going along
with it. I have personally checked it out, and can vouch for the usefulness
of the Quiet Time study, the Worship Matters, and Guideposts online. There
appear to be other useful things there, but I leave that to your discretion;
I will only speak for what I have used personally.

The Crosswalk.com 1,000 is a campaign that they are conducting both
through Email and through their Web site. Because of my positive
impressions of the tools I have used, I am willing to pass this request
along. Do not feel obligated to use it, but I do encourage you to take
a look.

Your brother in Christ,
Brian
