answered prayers!!

Things have been a mess around here for the last 3 months and now that it's
coming to a close, I thought I'd share more of it with you.
Mike's dad had a brain aneurism burst in January. The doctor's didn't want
to operate, said he would probably die anyway and if he didn't, it wasn't
likely that he would recover any level of meaningful life. His son's (the
boys) decided that they must force the operation anyway.
The docs said that it would take at least two years for James to recover
enough to be able to go home.
James didn't die. He did lay in a coma like state for 3 weeks or so, then he
began to recover.
He got better and better and better and better. Then, they found an
abdominal aneurism.
Then he got an intestinal infection that was antibiotic resistant and had to
stay in isolation at the rehab center.
Well, this week, we got the lab results back and the infection is cleared
up.
HE GOES HOME THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!
IN a week and half, he has surgery to put a stint in to detour the blood
around the abdominal aneurism. If there are no complications, within a week
or so, he should be home for good!!!
THREE MONTHS after the brain aneurism!!!!!!!!!!
We've had lots of things to pray about in our lives lately and I've been
praying more fervently and honestly lately. God is answering my prayers for
so many little things, quickly!
I've been worried about Sam driving. Last night I prayed that It didn't
seem like Sam was hearing my concerns about his driving habits, then as I
drove him home from his soccer game, he lectured me about MY driving
habits - just the things that I needed to know that he understood!!!!!!!!!
It was a direct answer to my prayer within an HOUR!!!
I had also prayed about how to help Mike with some things he is struggling
with. As we lay in bed last night, on the edge of sleep, he said exactly
what I needed to hear to know that God was answering that prayer! RIGHT
THEN!!!!!
A new friend of mine lost a baby (a twin) a few weeks ago. Today as she went
to the hospital to see if she had lost the second one, I prayed. She isn't
feeling movement and she is smaller than before and she is leaking fluid.
Her baby is fine!!!!!!! She is smaller because now she is only carrying one
baby and the fluid leakage is probably the remains of the first baby. God
answered our prayers once again!
These are not isolated incidences, rather a pattern of God working in my
life!!!
