Well, I didn't really ask you what you thought about me watching South Park,
but I think I've made myself clear already. South Park doesn't represent my
Lord and savior, and I'm a lot more willing to accept "mediocrity" from that
than an outright cynical excuse to use Christianity to sell crap. Not just
music. I realize that God has a sense of humor. My point was *never* about
South Park, and if you don't watch it, more power to you.

Did you read the two commentaries that I posted on the issue? While I don't
agree with everything (I come from a Wesleyan/ Armenian background rather
than the Calvinist that Razormouth's authors are), they make some very good
points.

There came a time in my walk with Christ that I got weary of defining my
relationship with him by what I did or didn't do. To me, that is tantamount
to explaining to someone that I have a good relationship with my wife
because I never beat her. I have no use for fundamentalism any more. I
quickly learned that many of the issues they place importance on simply do
not matter, and they only matter to them not because of making them stumble
or question their on faith, but rather to question mine. (See your last
sentence)

This is not to say I forsake trying to do right, but only that I try to
place my emphasis's on what Jesus indicates are the more important things.
It is a slippery slope when you try to place your faith in doing the right
things. For example, by your sig I would assume that you are a supporter of
George W. Bush. While I believe that he is a Christian and tries to do the
right things, there have been some instances in his presidency when he has
done some un-Christian like things. If I were to question your faith because
of being a supporter of him, where would it stop. BTW, I voted for GWB; just
using it to make a point.

In conclusion, feel free to question my faith Douglas. I happen to feel
secure on this question; although there are some things that God is always
dealing with me on. I believe that He wants more than anything to know how I
treated others, did I love Him with all my heart, and did I reflect just a
tiny bit of Him on this dark world. On the day which we are all judged, I
will stand before Him just like you, a sinner saved by Grace. I hope to be
found obedient in loving His creation and to be judged by the fruit He has
given me a chance to bear.

May God give me the trust in Him to live out His plan.
